About this Site

In 2007 the Lakewood YMCA hosted the YMCA National Gymnastics Championships.  In updating the 'history' page for the meet program, I became interested in filling in the blanks.  This led to getting files from the YMCA archives in Chicago - and uncovering a wealth of information on the history of the National Championships.
